She's chinese.
One day, a man suddenly came bombarding into her house. Grabbed the dog mercilessly, tied a rope to its neck and dragged it out of the house. The poor dog was pulled out to the street and dragged along the tar road. The man repeatedly haul and yank the stumbling dog hard. With rage and persistence, to prove to the dog owner his intention.
He's malay.
The man practically abused the dog and later came barking at the Kat doorsteps. He warned her to dispose of the dog or he shall do it himself. Adding more fire to his heated actions, he horrified my friend by threatening to hit the dog each and every single time he ever come across the pup.
To him, dogs are filthy animals and the pup should not linger around to dirty his neighbourhood. That also goes to malays of his kind.
Well, from my understanding in Islamic beliefs right from Rasullulah;
Yes, Terengganu is the largest state [error - 2nd largest after Pahang] in Peninsular Malaysia. So big, that they are often overwhelmed by unrightful practises of the Islamic teachings. People living in remote parts even demonstrate better religious ethics than most of those barbarians in the city! The fact that the diverted Islamic teachings have grounded their believers of many things had lead to many unspeakable wrongdoings and harsh actions towards members of the public-preferably, people of different skin. The man did not only abuse the dog, but he abuse the teachings of Islam and other citizen's right in M'sia.
Where's the law when we needed it most?
What happen to the other eyes who witness the abuse??
No discussion had taken place at that time of anger. Nor a general warning was ensued. This man had taken actions of his own narrow-minded law. Abusive, vulgar and not the kind of tolerable behaviour. By right, he should be taken to the rightful authorities. But, my friend was too terrified at the time of the incident and taken aback with what the man might do to her.
Is there such a law that dogs are not allowed in malay-dominated area where there are also chinese, ethincs and indians?? This is the first time I've ever heard of it. Buddhist do not eat beef because of their sacred status and also in their beliefs. But, they don't just pulled and drag the cows across the street! Certainly this is an outrageous act in condemning certain values of the public. What is wrong in trying to live within a multi-racial community with broad-minded thinking and righteous attitude?
To disgust us more, this is not the single event where people of indifferent colours suffer misconduct in M'sia.
I'm reporting, only one in a plenty.
