Menstrual cycle

This is the basic component taking place inside of women's body in 28 days.
And, guys still think that it's just a few days time!

The basic thing that makes any normal woman special.

Not lengthy fully-treated hair, not long and curvy eye lashes, not plenty of make-ups, not sexy delicious curves, not hairless features, not sleek satin white milky skin, not fake breasts, not deep cleavage, and certainly not just a beautiful face.

Consider this,

A chance to give birth to a child.

Aren’t we, women are born to bear the seeds of love? Most of you would not agree to what I’m saying here. Particularly, those trapped in modernisation. You would say that women are not destined to be servants of man’s desire. That, we are not ‘convicted’ to bear their child for 9 months.

A diagram just to refresh your mind of what you've learnt in high school.

Ladies, please be proud that you have this special advantage where none male (by record) possess. It is really special. Feel blessed that you have God given ability to be feminine. Don’t sit there and moan when you are aching from menstrual discharge. Why not find something enjoyable to do and be pleased that you don’t have complications when some other women have?

And then, you’ll start questioning, why men would not get swollen belly for more than half a year and go into labour? Suffer the most agonising pain in an entire women’s life? Even bet their lives to give life to the most precious thing that had been living within them for the past 9 months? [YES people, pregnant mother do face life and death situation while giving birth. One of my cousins passed away while giving life to her daughter…sad.].

[Guys would surely keep quiet by now].

Well people, I’m not here to scare you. I just want to let you guys know, how important it is to have a good healthy body. Eat well, exercise, keep yourself fit and strong, rest well, do check-ups regularly, maintain good mental health and stay happy. Ladies, consider this too,

A chance to drama keeling when we are having PMS!

Guys, oh please! Don’t give us that pathetic look. Menstrual pain is nothing nice to deal with. Imagine having your lil’ bro having cramps not because of excitement but of pain! Some idiotic guys just can never understand. They would make jokes bout ladies having PMS and laugh out their lungs. [On behalf of the girls - @#$%&*]. No, we don’t like it.

Most of us in the hectic world today suffer a lot of period pain. Why? Stress and pressure make up to most of it. Furthermore, junks and improper diet, skipping meals and lack of nutrients [sounds familiar huh??!!]. And then, we claim that time is never enough.

Well, excuses!

The thing is, we are working too hard. So hard on ourselves, that we neglect this important ‘SELF’ concept. Ladies, we ought to take good care of ourselves because this part of our inner health is really not as simple as you think.

Gain time for yourself. To do whatever you need to do to protect your health.

Maintain an active lifestyle. How?

  • Chart your menstrual cycle!!!
  • A brisk walk in the morning.
  • Make salad and juices.
  • Tune your stressors to cooking instead! [Hey, even guys do that, ok! MK is just the perfect ideal guy for this example].
  • Groove in some of your fav oldies / Simply jam in new R & B songs. [Whatever you prefer].
  • Aromatheraphy would be something new!
  • Warm shower and massage [Don’t pay, do it yourself!].
  • Adopt a pet from SPCA. [Don’t if you don’t have time or space for them].
  • Go shopping! [Pasar malam is a good idea too].
  • Spend some time with your loved ones – family, friends.
  • Organise a party (Slumber party? Gathering? Just for fun?)
  • Take pictures – environment, scenes, people, yourself…
  • Read up [WWW is so accessible now, don’t be lazy, ok!]. Some prefer hanging on to a book.
  • Pick up a hobby to do whenever you are bored.
  • Write – diary, blog, letters…
  • Set aside work and personal agenda.
  • Charity is a MUST!
  • Go on an exercise regime – make up a routine.
  • Hanging out with ji muis!!!
