Heart4Hope

Yes, it finally *DING DONG* at my doorstep this morning. Say me over-reacting or whatever you want, I don't care.

I ordered 3 pieces of tees from her Heart4Hope project. I was quite frusfrated with my seniors for "keep on forgetting" our orders back then when I helped to promote Yvonne's fund-raising in UMT.

This is what I adored most, a personal message......

I must admit that she's really super-efficient. It took me a minute or two to digest what the post-delivery man said before realizing it's from Yvonne Foong.(just after a day I banked-in for her).

She's really a down-to-Earth girl. Like her a lot. We had a couple of corresponding emails and there, she prove it well- a friendly yet knowledgeable blogger cum descriptive author. You know what? She even dare to pose as a model to advertise her merchandises!! Wah.... that's something I had not found the strength to do. Salutation to you!

For those of you who couldn't recall, she did appear in the newspaper (frequently) and she had a column for herself too. She writes about NF (Neurofibromatosis) and her challenging life ensued after being diagnosed with the genetic disorder. Not forgetting, her love in maintaining her informative blog. Nice job!

Yes, so if you want to do the same, might as well browse through her powerful blog and support her combat! Favour her an honoured deed in helping her to make it through.

Why I'm so into her? Nah, I'm into everybody else as well.
Let's put it this way, we connected. *sounds sheepish*

Well, I do find many who are reluctant to purchase via the cyberspace. Maybe you guys should be more alert of which to choose from. I've tried it with Yvonne, and it's so much fun that I forgot about all the so-called-trouble that people often complained about. When it is a good deed, you don't need to CREATE excuses. All you need is a little noble heart, it is all that they asked.

I can't believe my eyes!

I felt as if I wanted to get out of here the instant I finished this seriously distractive paragraph.

Cautioned?? What do you mean by caution? Why caution us, the minorities? It is either the newspaper should be more conservative of their vocabs or, there should be another speaker, speaking for us.

Malaysia survives for all of us, regardless of the colour we are born with. If you are the leader, you should be caring for us too. Should we choose a leader who discriminate other races rights in Parliament? It is time to change.

The General Election-Part 2

I find it ridiculous when our government wanted more advance lifestyle in the country whereby the citizens can barely keep-up with the current livelihood. Especially when you have been loitering around in the east coast long enough to see into the citizen's pain.

So what if your people chose a sedentary lifestyle?
So what if they like it the way they are?
So what's the big deal if they prefer a secure government service?
So what if they felt that the current federal government is an intruder?

this is quoted directly from the article. I guess it must take a lot of courage to say this :-

He said cost of living was low before but most Malaysians did not have water, electricity, cars and other facilities.

"Now most Muslims can do the haj. People have cars and enjoy other facilities. Prices have gone higher because quality of life has improved but we are managing the country well," he said.

Monsoon cup, Crystal mosque, Praying in the space, upgrading PDRM quarters, airport extension, 62 mosque project in T'ganu state, indoor + outdoor stadiums, declaration of heritage waterfront city, Visit Terengganu 2008, East Coast Economic Region (ECER) and much more.

With mega projects more to come, it is as if money pouring down the drains... Do you think the rakyat had wanted all these? All this not only bereaved them of their family income but rather a subtraction due to increase in taxes and prices of essential goods. Trying to make them poorer?

What about approaching the poor ones at rural areas? When to provide them help and guidance with establishment of Yayasan, Kebajikan and other welfare system? Why is poverty still an issue in Malaysia that was said to have their quality of life improved? Why are the health services still at the bottom?

A heritage city with an abandoned shopping complex, poor transport services, a closed-down cinema and the stadium, airport is still under major construction?? I bet little would know about the abandoned and poorly-maintained museum at the corner of the city which is said to be the largest in Malaysia!!!

Don't show development by building sky-high buildings for nothing. It took more than four years to come out with rapid growth signs all of a sudden. Will it take another 5 years for history to repeat itself?

The General Election - Part 1

I normally don't blog about politics, not that I'm not interested, but I had rather keep it to myself. Politics are sensitive for a general discussion-many would get offended and some would even start a boycott if I were to write about it!

I read this statement on the NST this morning, [please read up]

"He is already tired when it comes to providing services and not interested in serving (the people), so what is the benefit of electing him?"

I was actually shock and taken aback [once again] with the lame propagandas that government chose to torment their opposition. How could you be the least factual commenting about work done by others? List down your true achievements compared to the oppositions. Shameful! Winding about others just like a spoil kid desperately wanting a lollipop. Better still to comment one's self-achievement and tell the people what had been helpful to them all these years.

You sure know that the oppositions never get things they wanted the easy way. Be it financially, economically and socially, they are incomparable to the monopolizing government without the support of the citizens.

Yet, they had never stop their gesture to voice out the pain of their people
-because they felt it too....

Don't be deaf towards the needs of our people,
Don't let the unseen coloured your perceptions,
Don't be irresponsible and neglect your responsibility,
Don't stop looking for the answers to so many uncertainty,
Don't portray an ignorant part of you,
Don't trust any statement made, before digging up the truth,
Don't be blinded with religion at influence,
Don't cheat or lie,
Don't do it because you are eligible,

Don't disappoint the future generations.
